I saw Twilight yesterday afternoon and I'll say that it was better than I thought it would be. Some of it was over the top, but if you've read the novel, that shouldn't be much of a surprise. I admit, I snickered a lot through out the movie but I enjoyed it overall! I think it complimented the book very well and it's always nice to see a book I liked come to life. Also, the movie gets serious bonus points for using my favourite Iron & Wine song from The Sheperd's Dog.

The fans do scare me though. They were loud and had fangs and kept cheering.

I've also developed a weird appreciation for Robert Pattinson. Not because he's Edward Cullen and OMG SO ATTRACTIVE, but because he doesn't take himself or the movie seriously at all and he strikes me as a very charming lush/homeless person. And his hair. Oh my god, the hair. So full of secrets. And dirt. Plus, he's British.
